Robert Donovan -- Sunday, 11 December 2011, at 5:50 PMMy name is Bob Donovan, and I would like to join your team as a Captain .I have over 37 years experience working on the ocean and am highly skilled in vessel handling, both single and twin screw, and all aspects of navigation and seamanship. I am also thoroughly familiar with all navigable waters of Boston Harbor and surrounding areas.
As a former U S Coast Guardsman, I operated 41’, 44’, and 95’ vessels as a boat coxswain and officer of the deck, much of it in heavy weather including the “Blizzard of 78”. I also was President of my company, R E D Fisheries Inc., owning and operating 7 different vessels in the Northeast Commercial Fisheries.
