Northeast Maritime Institute (NMI) is a private, co-educational school whose mission is to provide its students an opportunity to pursue a career in the maritime industry. We provide marine safety education, USCG approved licensing courses, and Merchant Marine Document training. We also develop customized training programs for companies with marine personnel. Our facility features six fully- equipped classrooms, two computer study areas, lounge, library, radar navigation lab, marlinspike lab and a state-of-the-art full mission bridge ship simulator and a tug simulator.
